Kat’s been animating for over 15 years now and is finally ready to admit she might have learned a thing or two about good timing and spacing. She’s worked as an Animator, a Retakes Specialist, a Pre-Prod Problem Solver, a Post-Prod Miracle Worker, and an Animation Supervisor on shows like Bob’s Burgers and Duck Tales, and has spent plenty of time in the trenches on a motley assortment of other projects you’ve probably never heard of too.

Kat loves the personality and spontaneity that flows out of real hand-drawn animation, and is excited about sharing an appreciation for this amazing art form with as many new people as she can. She is a regular guest speaker at CSSSA (The California State Summer School of the Arts) and has also appeared and presented at numerous venues and events including Lightbox, CTN, as well as various high schools, colleges, and overseas studios around the globe.

Currently, Kat teaches animation to the second-year CalArtians by night, and serves as the Animation Lead for Disney/Marvel’s Moon Girl & Devil Dinosaur by day. She’d probably animate more if she could… but she hasn’t quite perfected the time machine yet.
